Natalie @NOfkantsCurios and Dee @OrukiDesign thanks for getting back on the photography issue. That’s the problem we are reliant on daylight and at this time of year there is not a great deal. I have to clear everything off my sewing table and have limited space to use and only my phone too.

Congratulations to the sellers today and yesterday - I have been catching up in dribs and drabs so I won’t name names because I wont remember them all. @clareyates and @BeautifulFabricBags some of the folksy blog postings ae helpful on the topics you raise, I’ve found; which is not in any way to decry the value of the experiences of other crafters contributing to the thread. As @NOfkantsCurios said about photography, ‘we have to work with what we’ve got,’ and it is a lot easier to relate to those we know are in the same boat. I’v found it tremeduously helpful to pick up hints and tips in this thread.

On a sunny day in summer, the light streams through the big bay window from about 1pm for the rest of the day. However, I’m in the town and there are tall houses across the road. I start to notice in early September that the sun disappears behind the roof opposite around 7pm, then earlier and earlier. Then in October then starting time gets later too. At the moment I need sunshine between 2pm - 4:30 pm to take decent photos, otherwise it has to be artificial light.

Good morning - dashing in with a quick listing before heading off to work. Got a few days leave coming up which means that from monday I will only have to work 4 days over 3 weeks - yay! Got lots of things booked though so probably no more time for crafting!
Went to the optician yesterday - my eyes have changed significantly, no wonder I couldn’t see! A good excuse to get some new glasses though - I hate the ones I’ve got now, dont know what inspired me to get them.
The sales fairy seems to be avoiding me over here at the moment - have sold a few christmas decorations on the dark side and am still selling reasonably well at the gallery but just not getting a bite here - oh well, I will keep trying.
