I’m super pleased to have reached over 450 sales! I only really started on Folksy a year ago (I’ve had a shop on here for a bit longer, but only had a few things in it.) I don’t normally blow my own trumpet, but today I am!

Opening my shop in October, working my way through editing over 200 listings and making my first sale on here! Plus it’s been lovely interacting with other sellers here to help support each other!

I am pleased that I put a hold regarding orders of one of my products that is print on demand. I do not want to contribute to the crazy rush that is the holiday time, so decided to put that product in pause til the new year.

I’ve spent a great deal of time and money on learning new skills this year which has meant I haven’t made as many things for my shop as I otherwise would have however I feel this has been really beneficial and it should result in new designs etc coming into my folksy shop in 2022.

I’m super proud to be a part of the Folksy Local groups that were created this year (I’m a team captain for East England), and we have a lovely group of sellers in our region.
I was also asked to be featured in 2 magazines this December! Craft Beautiful and Velvet Magazine in Cambridge.

I’m pleased to have improved many aspects of my proposition this year including new products, branding packaging etc. I’ve had a shop for many years but it is only really in the last year and a half that I’ve had the time to focus on it and I’m happy that this has started to pay off through increased sales and customer loyalty. I’ve also been proud to work with other Folksy sellers to help promote each others work and the Folksy brand. I look forward to continuously improving in 2022 and being part of the Folksy community as it goes from strength to strength!

I have learnt a few new crafting techniques which I will be adding to my shop shortly. It has been a long year for everyone and making new items gives me something to work towards and I look forward to selling them. I love it when I learn a new skill.

I passed the 200 sales mark in December this year, and am really delighted - thank you Folksy for making this possible!
