Unless I’m missing it, I can only find High Fives threads for previous years and I’m sure we have loads of great things to share!
I’m thrilled to have got into the top 10 of the best seller list with a sale of two original drawings. The customer is a lovely lady who bought some greetings cards from me back in 2020 and spotted that I had put the originals on sale in the Craft Drop event, She couldn’t decide which one of the four she liked best so bought two!
So I’m delighted that my theory of greetings cards being a stepping stone to original art sales has finally borne fruit, also thanks to Folksy for the craft drop event as I might not have got round to listing these otherwise.

A great high five for me today, I sent a request to Folksy asking if we could have a ‘hand painted cards’ subsection to try and help those of us who sell original hand painted cards.
They have very kindly added it and a new subsection for ‘hand printed cards’ too.

My high five for 2024 is a full page article in Uppercase magazine. It’s produced in Canada and available worldwide. In my personal opinion It’s a very good read for creatives.
