Folksy layout different depending on browser

(Eileens Craft Studio) #1

I just logged into my shop via firefox and and IE8.

I don’t go in via folksy link but by my shop url.

I have noticed the outlay is different.

In IE8 you get a blue box with the white line to click for the drop down menu.

In Firefox you still get a black band across the top of the page with some of the options within it and you have to hover over different options to get different drop down menu’s as not all options are in one drop down menu. Some are in one drop down menu and some are in another drop down menu.

I wonder if potential customers see different versions of Folksy depending on what browser they are using?

Its different too on my ipad which is Safari.
I get a bit confused when I change from my ipad to my laptop.

That’s interesting Eileen, I don’t get the black band on Firefox. Maybe try clearing your cache?

gosh it’s changed yet again. It’s now the same in IE8 as it is in Firefox.

In that neither have the big blue square with the white lines for a single drop down menu.

Now both have the bar across the top with Folksy, your shop name, Favourites, Your shop and Basket. Now the band on is in grey. with the writing in blue except Folksy which is the colourful bit.

So if you hover over Your shop you get one drop down menu and if you hover over your shop name in the top band you get another drop down menu.
