Images not showing

Folksy Site Issues

Can anyone help. Ive not been able to view any images on folksy for a few days,just a small icon instead of an image. Ive tried the usual clearing of cache. I use an android tablet. I can access via my phone though

Hi Christine, just had a look at Folksy and your shop using my Android tablet, all images showing fine, how is it on other sites, are they showing okay. Sorry I don’t know what to suggest, hope it’s sorted soon.

No but i can access on my phone and everything is fine. My tablet is quite old so think that might be the issue. Ill have to convert to my phone but I really prefer the layout on my tablet for Folksy. Its much better for browsing, shopping and updating my shop which runs out tomorrow. Still unsure wether to just call it a day to be honest. Thanks though

Well, I prefer using a desktop to list/edit my shop, the only thing I use the tablet or sometimes the phone is to view only or to comment on this forum. Just can’t do anything precise on a tablet or phone, but well done if you can :clap:

Have you tried using a different browser to usual or updating your prefered browser app for any updates?

Thank you Debbie I think that has sorted it
I’d tried updating and clearing cache etc
Changed browser from chrome to Firefox and can now see images again

Good to hear you sorted it Christine, I’ve stopped using Firefox as there are so many sites that don’t like it such as Royal Mail, when I had a business account with RM and tried ordering grey mailing sacks and rolls of labels (all free if you have a Online Business Account) trying to login was a nightmare, there were other business websites I used to use and had the same problems :grinning:.

Thanks Steve, yes I’ve probably sorted one problem and created another. At least I can decide now what to do about my Folksy shop. Thanks for your help

Just starting to have the same problem with Chrome on my Desktop, only site it’s happing on, why is it only Folksy ?

I only had the problem with Folksy too Steve, hope you get it sorted, and others don’t get the same problem, especially any visitors.

Yeah did sort it, by clearing the cach, this time it was on the desktop not tablet, weird it only happens on this site :thinking:
