I joined Folksy last autumn and am wondering if its worth taking the plunge and going for the plus account. I don’t list very frequently (maybe once a week) so in terms of basic finance it wouldn’t be worth me upgrading for the free listings and relistings. I’ve made no sales yet but am improving my products and photos so I definately see my shop as something to improve and develop. I would just like more visibility and wonder if, and how, upgrading might help with that (other than frequently relisting). It is a tough market out there with an awesome amount of talent on show! Thanks for your responses. It looks like relisting is the best idea for me, I will have a look at the numbers but I doubt I would ever list/relist enough to make Plus worthwhile.
Don’t go for a plus account unless you have lots of items to list, otherwise you’ll soon feel like it’s a waste of money. Concentrate on the best listings you can create for the items you have, then promote those. Don’t underprice your work, and remember postage goes up in April.
