It’s looking like it’s going to be a nice day already and the birds are tweeting their little hearts out. I’ve cleaned my work space this morning so it’s all nice and fresh to sit in!
I plan on having a creative day today, I’m going to make a few new designs for the tags and I’m thinking of some note cards too perhaps. We’ll see.

Its my last day selling in a bricks and mortar shop. I plan on eating junk food tonight, then tomorrow getting on with a lot of Xmas projects which Ive not been able to get stuck into.

I’ve got a busy day of errands today. I’m off to buy some fabric for a non folksy item, some hand sewn curtains. I’m hoping to do a few bits and pieces for my shop this evening. I’ve made some nautical shaped kids cushions and just got to hand sew them shut. I always find it quite relaxing, may treat myself to a glass of wine seeing as it will be a Saturday night.
I actually wanted to ask when it is a good idea to start on Christmas stock. Is it now? Do Christmas items go up pretty early? Xx

I don’t think it’s too early to start working on things for Christmas, go ahead and do it if you fancy it. Look at it this way, by the time sales pick up for Christmas you’re sewing machine won’t be smoking lol. x

Ladies I need to ask your opinion on something. Basically, an extremely large parcel has been delivered to me this morning (it’s a vacuum because it’s printed onto the box). The parcel is for ‘my’ address with someone else’s name on it, completely different from mine, therefore, I don’t (didn’t) know who the parcel belongs to because I don’t know of the name.
Within 10 minutes of it being delivered, a woman knocked at the door to collect it. How would she know to knock at my door to collect a parcel when she hasn’t received card through her letterbox stating the parcel has been left with a neighbour? Baring in mind it has my door number on it which is number 2, after watching where she walked to because I didn’t recognise her, she’s gone into number 18. Do you think she’s took something out at my address? I could understand maybe if her door number was 12 or 22 being a typing error but number 2 and number 18? Highly unlikely.
She obviously knew the parcel would be arriving today, hence why she came to collect it. Am I being paranoid or do you agree with my suspicions? x

It is lovely and sunny here too. Not so warm though. I had to go to the shop quickly and I was freezing in my shorts.
Kelly @tagpress she may have rung the company. I had this problem years ago. My xbox broke we sent it to the company to fix it.
Then the day it was meant to be delivered it never arrived.
So I rang the company and they said it had been delivered to number 34 nothing like my 57. So I had to run down and hope they had it.
But it was an old couple and they gave me it.
I was very relieved.

Bit of a late start again this morning. I am usually up at 6:30 but my neck is making anything other than staying in one position difficult! Really must try and get up and get motivated - will start with a nice walk with the dogs I think.
I adore making Christmas items so definitely going to enjoy starting to make some. I’m still a big kid about it! Obviously showing that I’m still a novice as I hadn’t thought about how to get ahead of the Christmas rush (hopefully).
Kelly @tagpress I agree with Roz @Rozcraftz seeing as it was a big item I probably would try and ring the company just to put my mind at ease.

Thanks for your opinions on the parcel, I don’t even remember the details on the packaging now to be able to call it. The woman was just acting shifty now I think about it and when she asked for the parcel she didn’t look directly at me even when I opened the door! That was what made me wonder had it been intentionally ordered to my address. I guess i’ll just have to wait and see if any kind of debt letter arrives with her name on which i’ll remember and then i’ll make a phone call.
Roz @Rozcraftz I hope you’re neck gets better. I’ve had that a few times and it’s just awful!

Okay, Royal Mail just came and delivered another parcel for this same person, this time from flowers@bunches.co.uk
A vacuum and flowers? Two different companies, my address with the same name as the vacuum? I really can’t buy this??? x
Think you need to do some investigation! Let us know the outcome - I’m intrigued! Perhaps the flowers are for you as a thank you for letting her use your address!
Yeah I think so Roz @Rozcraftz. So far she hasn’t knocked for them but I’m certainly not delivering them to her! x

I can’t seem to get going today, this whole thing is bugging me! Waiting for OH to arrive home, he’ll sort it out.

It’s nice to finally be sitting down. I went to the shops ended up having to go to three supermarkets to find something decent for dinner.
Sainsburys had three freezes broken. Iceland looked as if it had been robbed.
It was crazy. Ended up in lidl I don’t mind that though as they have some nice food.
Hopefully I’ll get something else listed today
I have so much to do at home but will save the tidying for tomorrow.
Thanks Dawn @hobbitgirlie1880. I can’t believe you had to go to 3 different places! I made a spaghetti bolognaise and sprinkled it with cheese, I’ve just eaten mine and I feel bloated!

I’m loving sitting here, I cleaned my workspace early this morning! I was going to make something but I’m just going to make a board for Pinterest instead! From Folksy of course! x
Was a slow starter this morning, eventually started thinking about some possible Christmas decorations but they are still at the playing about stage!
This evening my daughter has gone out to a bbq so I am enjoying the bliss of my own company and I have been making another scarf - nearly ready to hang up to dry. Not too sure if this one is going to be any good as it may have shrunk too much in the felting process but this was the last bit of cotton I had until my next order arrives so I thought I might as well give it a go.
