I second third fourth and even 99th that suggestion ![]()
Hey @LooneySpoons thank you for you great suggestions! I’ve taken a note of them both and we’ll look to get those scheduled in for the near future.
Went in there and it’s working for me. I see that this is a new option so not used it as yet to rearrange my makes. Good luck as it is very frustrating when you can’t manage your own shop.
BRILLIANT thank you so much! This new feature is very much appreciated but since it’s new I hoped it might be helpful for you to know how people are using it and the issues that arise.
I created a new Collection and added items, but they don’t show. I added them to an existing Collection and changed the name and still nothing shows. I’ll wait until tomorrow to see if it is visilbe in my shop.
Does the collection you changed the name of, still shows with the old name? Every time I created a new collection since the change with shopkeeping, it showed the next day. So it might be treating the change of the title the same way?
No, the new name is showing.
The Collection appeared in my shop a couple of hours later and it showed there was only 1 item instead of a few that I had added. But when I went into the Collection, all items were there.
This morning I saw that the total number of items is updated. Then I added two more and will wait for them to show in the total.
I guess the system needs a couple of hours to update changes.
Aaron @aaronfolksy Are you making any progress on sorting out the All listing search so it can differentiate between current and expired listings. When you have a big shop like mine with lots of old expired listings too it is absolutely impossible to find the wood among the trees.
I’ve sold a couple of stars at a fair today and I suspect i had not listed them here but cannot be sure as cannot for the life of me see if they are hidden among all the other stars which come up in my star search.
PLEASE pretty please will you expedite this. xx
Aaron @aaronfolksy Please please pretty please will you Do Something about the ALL search. I sold 29 things at a market yesterday and have to remove them from my stocked listings but finding them all is a nightmare. It will surely result in my leaving something in stock which i have sold and then a disappointed customer (I don’t do disappointed customers as you can see from my lovely feedback) . Life is also too short to have to spend 2 hours removing the stock from my shop because finding them is so tedious and hit and miss.
PLEASE…
The ALL search is worse than useless. It gives hope that here we have a search facility which is immediately dashed when all I have is a list of every listing I have had in 14+ Folksy years. I just tried to find my mini angels … can’t remember the exact title so went to ALL …gave up after scrolling down 20 pages of 14 years of angels.
PLEASE
As a bare minimum we desperately need a date last listed / stock quantity… until you allow selection by active, out of stock, expired…
Here is an example…
…First of all the ALL search only shows 4.5 listings at any one time. These 4.5 angels are ALLout of stock. No idea how old as the date listed useful, essential really, info was removed from our listings several years ago (Sadly) . I could tell 3 were out of stock because of the Reserved prefix and the SOLD (when i sell outside Folksy i often but not always add the SOLD prefix) . The other 2… i can only find out if they are my active listing or not by hitting edit and scrolling down until i find the 0 stock quantity… and yes they are both out of stock but I have no idea when they were listed, sold as there are no dates anywhere.
So as I said…PLEASE either add a way of selecting or show a stock quantity and or date listed.
Oh and please fix the display so it shows a reasonable amount of listings at a time. 4.5 is not helpful.
What @JOYSofGLASS said! I’ve just had a very similar post-craft-fair experience with this issue. My items are pretty much all one-offs but the thumbnails look very similar. I really struggle with stock management, I can’t get my head round the system here, for example the muddling mixture of sold and unsold items under ‘Expired’, and the inability to search my own listings in a meaningful way is wasting so much time! PLEASE @aaronfolksy at least let us filter the ‘All’ search results so we can see just the items that are in stock. It would be nice if we could also see a list of just the items that are expired but not sold out, a list of just the items that are sold out, and so on, but that’s less essential.
Or give us a place to add an SKU so that at least we can have our own system and match our items up with it.
Also I would LOVE to be able to find a listing in ‘All’ and then copy it, at the moment the only option is ‘edit’.
Thanks for listening ![]()
I don’t disagree with you at all Joy and a workaround is not a fix but… I just tried this out and it might help with your challenge ![]()
If I want to see all the listings for project bags in my shop, I use Folksy’s main search and type in: “the crimson rabbit” “project bag” and up they all come.
Might that help as a protem workaround?
I did not realise could use that search facility of all. How long have I been here, lol.
It is new ish but sorry Folksy support it is almost worse than useless .
