I’m back after an 18 month break. I’ve just resurrected my shop, added a Stripe account and subscribed for another year. Now I’m slowly adding items to my shop and trying to remember how Folksy works!

So, what’s been cooking here on Folksy? Have I missed much?!

Welcome back.
I don’t think there have been many changes in the last 18months, apart from the Stripe addition.
You will still see a few old familiar shops you recognise.
Hope you enjoy being back and make lots of sales.

Thank you Bekki @bekokodesigns. It’s amazing how much I’ve forgotten - it took me ages to sort out my Collections - I forgot about the ‘shopkeeping’ bit! It doesn’t take long for the little grey cells to die!!

I hope you’re all doing well, and making lots of sales here. I hope to gradually get all my stock re-listed, but it will take a while. Do you all still promote on here? And does it work?

How do you all find the Stripe addition? Has it made any difference to sales?

I’ll take a browse around all your shops at coffee time - it will be great to catch up with all your beautiful creations :smile:

@ciesse Yes, still lots of promotion threads on here and I participate when I can.
I chose not to add Stripe to my shop as quite a few people had issues setting it up so I have waited to see how it goes.
The consensus seems to be that it hasn’t really increased sales, but quite a lot of customers are choosing to pay by stripe instead of Paypal so it is giving them an extra option. My sales have stayed steady without it but I may add it at a later date.
