I am in the process of changing my email address and have successfully done so on Folksy itself, but can’t seem to do so on the Forum. When I go to my forum profile icon, and its menu, there is the option to update the email address, but then a box which says:
Email can be updated from authentication provider. Never shown to the public.
So who is the ‘authentication provider’ and how do I do it? All forum replies to my recent post are being sent to my old email address which will cease to exist in the very near future. Anyone know how to do it? Thanks.
Have your tried logging out of the forum (and possibly the main folksy site) clearing any relevant cookies and then logging back in? Possibly something to try whilst you wait for a reply from support.
Thanks both @SueTrevor@SashaGarrett The message in the ‘update email address’ box actually blocks me from entering a new address, so I’m not sure that clearing cookies will work, and I’ve been logging in and out of the Folksy main website several times since changing my Folksy Seller email address. I will contact Folksy support and see what they suggest.

Folksy Support told me that I had not updated to my new address in ‘Shop Settings’ and it was still showing the old address. This also affected a Paypal notification this morning when I received an order. I had changed the email address in my Folksy account settings profile, but not in Shop Settings - and didn’t know there was an email address included in that section as it’s not something I look at often. I updated, and logged out and in to the Forum, and my profile here is now magically showing the new email address. All well now!
