It will also depend on the size of the items you make and how much space you have to store them. I suggest that it’s easier to store 100 pairs of earrings than it is to store 100 wooden fruit bowls.
As a shopper, I probably wouldn’t look though more than 4 or 5 pages of items in a single shop, so that’s where the Collections are useful. If you only have 20 or so items, I don’t think the Collections function is necessary.
Ive just made it to the 100 listing mark. With having a day job I don’t get a lot of time to build up my stock. I tend to have an afternoon making a couple of items, followed by an afternoon making the pieces into jewellery, then comes the photography bit which I think takes the longest, another day to edit and play around with the images. Next comes the listing process and tah dah a new listed item is born.
So yes quite a lengthy process from start to finish.
I love the plus account as I’m not worrying about the fees totting up as I list.
I’ve got 151 at the moment, grouped in collections of 5 to 25/26.
Here is one of my favourite items, a pendant necklace with art print and lava beads :).
I’m at 61 I think.
I’m aiming for 100.
I don’t have a plus account so I do have to be careful not to over do it.
I don’t have enough money to pay the 45 in one go.
If I could pay it in installments I’d be able to get a plus account.
I have 11 items at the moment. I’m listing one a day as I’m still stock building. I shouldn’t be ungrateful because I’m selling a fair bit to friends and via Facebook.
Once I’m more established and know how my sales will be, I’ll upgrade if necessary.
I have 9 - but not for long! All being removed at the end of tomorrow, but are offered at half marked-price to clear (or reasonable offers)!. I don’t think ready-made clothing is going to work somehow!
True silverpagan- but to put it in perspective that is in 4 years hard work and about half were sold on offer at probably less than the cost of the materials!- including a boned strapless prom dress with full netted underskirt for £ 10!
