How to "pause" your shop

Hi everyone,

So, I have been on Folksy for over a month and I haven’t made a single sale. In fact, no one has even looked at my shop. I confess I haven’t been pushing it as hard as I’ve got a gallery space I have been advertising instead (and making sales from).

It looks like I will be in the gallery until Christmas at least. I am paying for Folksy Premium but I want to know if I can just go back to “free” Folksy for the time being and then launch again in the new year when I can start marketing it properly?

Any help appreciated.

Sorry to hear that. I think it’s something you’d need to ask Folksy Admin about - think it’s @folksyadmin.

What I would say is that although I’ve had a shop for something like 10 years, I’ve only starting promoting (clumsily) in the last few months. Prior to this my shop was shamefully neglected - yet every year I’ve had a rush of sales in Nov / early Dec and the odd one throughout the year which have covered the fees. When I first opened my shop (in a January) it was months before I got any interest so it can take a while.

Best of luck and hope you can keep the faith

Go to your dashboard, plus account, then cancel this will revert you to the normal pay per listing. You can also put your shop on holiday mode at that point.
