I am new here

I’m completely new to Folksy and just starting to grow my shop The Gift Attic by Liudmyla. I’m really inspired by the creative atmosphere here and the beautiful handmade work I’ve seen so far!

I’d be so grateful for any tips on how to promote my shop — especially how to get featured in collections, which tags work best, and how to use social media to attract more attention.
If you have any favourite strategies or just some kind words of encouragement, I’d love to hear them :yellow_heart:

Thank you in advance — I’m really happy to be part of this lovely creative space!

Thank you for the tip. Yes, I’m just starting out and I know I need to develop my social media. Thank you for telling me that the page is blocked. I will fix it))

I just checked out your store. You make wonderful things! I’m simply amazed!!!

You would do better to create a separate Business fb page so that you keep your personal posts for your Friends rather than the whole world.

Hi Liudmyla - welcome to Folksy

This seller’s guide gives you lots of good tips on how to set up your Folksy shop for success:

Thank you for the advice. I will do just that. Could you tell me how to properly manage such a page? Should I only post my own work there or should there be other content as well??? Thank you

Thank you very much)))

Hi and welcome to Folksy, I opened my shop earlier this year and I have found Instagram a great way to drive people and sales.

Definitely if you support others and join in with things on there.

Just try and add as many relevant tags to your item as you can and that should help. X

This is all very new to me. I have never managed business pages on social media. But I am full of determination and enthusiasm))) Thank you for your advice) I thought so too, that I need Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. I started setting up my Pinterest page yesterday.

Post whatever you like that draws people to engage with your page. If you are comfortable posting them people seem to enjoy seeing work in progess as well as finished work. And apparently, pics of your 4 legged assistants if you have them godown really well too
