I really have no excuse for this, having been here a while but…can anyone tell me what my image size needs to be so that it looks fine on the item page but also looks fine on the shop page too. By the time the photo gets cropped onto the shop page I’m finding bits cut off, and figure my shop would look a bit more professional if i made sure all the images were a proper size.
Its not the size but the shape - a perfect square is best. I use picasa for my cropping and they have a cd cover option which gives a square.
I tend to make my images 800 x 800 pixels, and 72dpi. That way they are a perfect square but the file size and a quick upload.
The only trouble with a square format is that it is then cropped to a rectangle in the “collections”. Very frustrating as I never leave enough of a border to accommodate that.
