Photos not loading properly

As of yesterday anytime I try to look at Folksy, I find images just not showing, there is just a little square with a question mark inside it. Screenshot attached.

Anyone else having this or is it just me?

I emailed folksy urgent about this last night. My computer anti virus screamed that the photo was infectedvwith an Ngrok botnet. . Not just me then. @aaronfolksy

I’ve tried the one that is missing and another random one for pearls, but they are all showing. No idea of what could be happening here, but I’m sure @admins will be able to help.

So, I can see them all if I look under the banner on my page to search Folksy, but indeed, when I actually go in to the shop, they are not there. I have nooooo idea what’s going on now. Hope this one can be sorted out soon. Off now to see what my own page is doing… thanks for highlighting.

Can’t do anything on Folksy today as my anti virus shouts at me.

No idea if it really is malicious but my Avast anti virus doens’t like it, any page with a blank photo and if I Ctrl F the source for the page that botnet reference is there.
Google says

I’ve joined the club - I can go to the pages and the listings seem fine and I think everything is working as normal but my initial shop page shows some listings as blanks. I have Norton protection which is normally very good. Hope Folksy can sort this quickly!

I’m having the same problem with some photo’s not showing on my shop page, and on the Folksy home page.

This may have to do with the size of the image not the resolution. When I checked the missing images they were way too large even though the res was only 72. So I made them smaller and they seem ok now. Obviously a problem with the primary image size.

No. It’s to do with a corruped source image address. When you redid your photo it would have corrected the source. I have left mine in place so Folksy can see it as I emailed the details Urgent last night.

If you view the source (via right click) and check for NGROK using Ctrl F you will see this entry against the bad image

“image”: “https://1a6189f4bb62.eu.ngrok.io/aXRlbXMvNTc0NC8yMDE3MDIwMS8yMTM0ODkyMjcxOA-Q-Q-N/shopitem/5368141-Love-Heart-Bricks-Stained-Glass-Suncatcher-Red-008-0”, = missing photo on your page

Normally shows as :
“image”: “https://imagedelivery.net/0ObHXyjKhN5YJrtuYFSvjQ/i-10a31223-9b72-447a-926e-cc7001dd153c-heart-trio-stained-glass-suncatcher-3-of-hearts-red-joysofglass/shopitem”, = good photo on your page

I have 1 on page 1 which means my antivirus shouts whenever i go to my shop,
1 on page 4 (oddly that one is back ! ? )
2 on page 9
Appears to be totally random which have it and which don’t. I cannot imagine that this is any deliberate coding by Folksy.

I’m having the same problem when I try to look at other people’s shops too. This happens with both of my shops, Creations for Tiny Tots and Oswestry Jewels
What is happening Doug @dougfolksy or Aaron @aaronfolksy ?

i have missing photos too…some randomly go missing and then next time I go to my page, a different one is missing.x

Yes you have 4 on your first page all in a line and the source code shows 4 images with the
“image”: “https://1a6189f4bb62.eu.ngrok.io/L2l0ZW1zLzczNzQ5LzIwMjIxMDA4LzE5MzQ0NzAwMDM2OTA-Q-N/shopitem/8033793-hand-painted-original-art-congratulations-greetings-card-ref-f-311--0”,

Where they should show a url prefixed “[https://imagedelivery.net]

Pretty sure once you have it it won’t go of its own accord. If you update to reload the photo it will but I’m leaving mine so when Folksy get to sorting it they can see what is there. As I get a Virus Scream every time I hit a page with even one there (4 screams for you) I wonder what happens if any of my customers with good virus protection like mine hit my page…!!!
