Is there anyway you can put orders in date?

I’m finding it difficult to see my new orders, as they’re all jumbled up in dates.
I want them in date order. I missed a order completely but have rectified and sent it off.
But there is nowhere I can see them in date order.
Anyone know how
Thanks

Thats odd. My orders are already in date order, with the most recent order at the top of the page. They have always been like that. I did get confused once, but then realised the date shows in year/month/day format which seems backwards to me…

I think the only way they go out of date is if you have marked more recent ones as despatched…but not older ones ?

Yes Joy is right, if you haven’t marked an order as shipped, it is still at the top of the list.
I would like to know how you remove these orders as I have two I didn’t mark as shipped from 2019, and they flummox me every time, any one know?

I have one too, I did ask admin and the only way is to mark it as despatched and maybe email the customer to tell them to ignore the shipped email, which I am not sure I want to do.

I’d like to know too! I have some from way back that I forgot to mark as shipped and they really bother me! I remember once that someone marked an old order as shipped to tidy up their dashboard and obviously confused the customer as they complained it hadn’t arrived, so I’ve avoided doing that.

I agree Helen, I don’t think I could do that. I’d rather keep my incompetence to myself! :joy:

You did make me laugh with this because I have done just that :joy: after reading the posts before yours, I went to dash and looked at my orders as I knew that I had 2 older ones that I had not marked as posted that were up the top and when I clicked to see order there are two places where it says mark as shipped, one in the yellow bar at the top and the other underneath the address in the white bit so I thought maybe if I click on that one instead of the one above it might not send them a email - but probably not ha ha , so I’ll let you know if I get a confused email from the customers! :joy:

Yes, they show in date order for orders not marked as shipped, and then date order for orders marked as shipped, to make sure any that still need to be processed are still at the top of the list even if you’ve had more recent orders.

Unfortunately there is no way to mark a sale as shipped (by the seller or support) without it sending an email, because once that button is clicked it’s automatically done.

Obviously if you had a sale that got refunded and cancelled for whatever reason you can email support to get them to delete it from the list, but there’s no magic way around it for sent orders where you just forgot.

2 got lost in the post, so refunded so it’s sat at top. Another I couldn’t fulfill as was ill.

They all sound like orders you could get Folksy to cancel if they have been fully refunded which should remove them from your orders list. Drop Folksy an email with the order numbers (click on the order and there should be a 7 digit code at the end of the url, thats the order number) and explain that the orders were refunded so need cancelling.

What @SashaGarrett said, plus the date of the order, please!
(we can only search orders from the last month, so the date really helps us find things quicker when it’s an older order).
