You can ‘favourite’ other shops by clicking on the little pink heart marked favourite at the top of the page on any shop. This means that you are updated when this shop adds new items, and the Folksy member is made aware that you have favourited them.

Go to the shops main page and you will see a small heart with ‘favourite’ next to it just below their banner. Click on the heart to follow that shop.

So having a shop as favourite is the same as a follow?

Hi Siobhan and every one else:)

This is exactly what I’ve been doing but every time I just get this message -
“The page you were looking for doesn’t exist. You may have mistyped the address or the page may have moved.”

I’m puzzled as to why this is happening when others seem to be having no problem with it. I’m always logged in when I try. If anyone has any thoughts I’d be really grateful, many thanks in advance.

I think you have to go to the WHOLE shop…so if you go to someone’s item…near the picture, it says VISIT SHOP…click on that and once in the main shop , click the filled in pink heart at the top of the shop page…that will then favourite it and you will be following them.
Hope that is what you needed to know. x

@ARiversideStudio If clicking on the heart brings up an error message, there have been rare occasions where people have trouble favouriting, and it seems to be issues with either their browser or a browser extension.

Things that can sometimes help are clearing your browser cache/cookies and making sure you have the most up to date version of the browser.
If that doesn’t make a difference, try using a different browser, or try using a private/incognito window (extensions aren’t normally set to work in private windows).

It’s still happening when I try it as things are now but a browser issue sounds entirely likely, and if going down that route fails I’ll try a private window.

Hooray, and thank you all again!!

I turned off uBlock Origin and voila, all is well. I’m a happy bunny now:):slight_smile:
