Listing Charges?

Hi  I’ve just signed up this weekend on the Folksy Plus account. I began listing my ‘ makes’ and it charged me 18p listing fee. I thought listings were free with a plus account? Does anyone have any ideas what I can do about this. I don’t want to carry on listing and racking up listing fees when I believed they were free.

I then decided to list my things and save them as drafts .,I put all of the info in and clicked the Preview icon but nothing happened and my draft disappeared when I moved from the page.It didn’t save to drafts - it just evaporated!
So all in all not a good start on Folksy . My shop is Islamaymakes and I make small felt decorations.
Please can someone can advise me?

There can be a time delay from signing up for the plus account and it being fully activated. I can see the plus icon on your shop front now, so hopefully listings will be free now. If you contact support I’m sure your listing fee will get refunded.
With drafts you have to have added at least one photo before it will save. Not sure what the issue was in your case, but it usually works fine.

Thank you so much for your advice Deborah . I’ll give it another go tomorrow and see how it works out

How did you leave the page? Did you go backwards or click on the menu? I know on the Macs if you back arrow always deletes what you have just done.

Hi Carole
I back arrowed ! My fingers can’t help themselves ! Although I’m not using a Mac . Is there some way of saving your work as you go along?

To save a draft listing you need to make sure all of the required fields have something entered (even if it’s just a bit of nonsense to fill the space before you have time to write the proper thing). The required fields are the category, title, description, quantity, price, UK shipping price and 1 photo. Once these all contain something you should be able to click the “preview listing” button, which acts as saving to drafts.

If you then click off the listing (such as by clicking the Folksy logo, but anywhere should work) it’ll be saved to your drafts folder. Or you can click “make changes” to carry on writing your listing, the version from when you last clicked “preview listing” should be saved if anything goes wrong (just make sure you click off/use “make changes” rather than using the back button).
