Monthly Art Chat - September

thanks for that Pam…I was clicking on the mountain icon then clicking on the picture and pasting then going and getting the top url and pasting then clicking reply…I THOUGHT you had to do that so that people could click back on the image to get back to your shop,…otherwise it was difficult for them to find it???

I will try that in a mo…I know that if I am doing" likes " for the daily listing thread, sometimes if the whole thing comes up (as in your example), I find it difficult to find that image and the shop to go and like it…

trying with your painting Pam

I’ve just clicked on it - it worked! Hurray!

Afternoon all, you all sound like you have had a good day. I’m the same at the moment Margaret, too many ideas and I don’t know where to start so I end up doing very little lol!.

Brenda it works the same as the dark side now just need to copy and paste the url, much easier, my only complaint is that it brings all the info across not just a few lines.

Banners look great Hazel, I finally got around to making bunting for mine adds a lovely homely feel to my stall.

Beautiful flowers Pam

I’ve been playing with my pastels this afternoon, for some reason though I can’t load a pic! It’s on my FB page though

well that is definitely easier than keeping having to open new windows all the time…it will save a lot of painting time.

I very often get that message Brenda, I just ignore it!lol Lovely work.

Cute doggie Max, enjoy your trip to Cardiff.

Margaret, I think that if some of us had that message and took notice of it, this thread would meet its demise!
Forgot to say Max, what a lovely painting.

Waving everyone!
Great work, Max and Brenda! The dog and red balloon picture is really cheery and I like the colour effects in the lady’s hair.
I’ve been making dolls house items this morning, but they aren’t art, so I’m not sure that I can put the photos on this thread! I’ve made a little bunch of six red roses and a rose plant - great fun, but very fiddly!

you could show them here Pam, they’d count as scupture art

your lady is beautiful Brenda

Thank you Margaret had a lovely day but tired now, I bought myself a set of 18 pastel pencils, getting on really well with them. Here’s todays efforts 6 x ACEO just waiting for the sealant to dry.

Thanks, Max!
Wow! Your ACEOs are fantastic! Are you going sell them individually, or as a set? They’d work well either way!

Here’s my ‘objet d’art’ for today!!

They are lovely Pam, I used to work with polymer clay but haven’t done anything for ages. I’ll be selling individually and thank you

wow those ACEOs are lovely Max, and the little roses are very cute Pam!

I didn’t have a brilliant afternoon. I thought I’d drive Mum and Dad down to the local river which neither of them have been to for years, it’s too steep a climb back up for them to attempt unaided. All was going well, gorgeous sunshine and Mum was enjoying it, until she turned suddenly on the bridge, lost her balance and fell flat on her back! A passing man helped her up, and she walked slowly home, but she’s bleeding from her finger and her elbow. It upset me as I’d taken her out as a treat and she’s ended up injured, though her bad hip is actually better than it was before, maybe the fall has knocked it back into place, or maybe she’s just too numb to feel the pain. We’ll find out in a day or two if she stiffens up or not. I do hate seeing Mum suffer :frowning:

Oh Margaret, I do hope she is ok now…and so upsetting for you, as you had wanted them to enjoy a nice trip.

I hope your Mum is ok now, Margaret. Her fall must have been a shock for all of you.

Thanks Brenda and Pam, she doesn’t seem too bad at the moment, she won’t know till morning really. Dad doesn’t know anything about it, he’d wandered off on his own and we didn’t tell him as he’d only worry. People are very kind, the man who helped us was feeding ducks with his daughter but came running as soon as he saw Mum on her back. She must have very strong bones, she never breaks anything when she falls!

Morning all Margert I hope your Mum is okay today after her fall, sending hugs to you all.
