I love those cards Christine @ChristineJonesPrintmaker
Love them!
This is not handmade or hand designed but I finally cut out my first design with my new Cricut machine! I bought it to try and help me make my own designed stencils for my pottery.
It cut the pattern out so fast! This is a sticker for my food waste bin.
I had been procrastinating using it for so long as I didn’t know where to start! It was trickier than I thought as on the first two attempts, it didn’t feed the vinyl through properly and it all scrumpled up!
That looks cool Sarah, @dotterypottery ![]()
I’ve just completed the 3 commission lamps I mentioned in the January thread, apologies for the poor photos, I’ve been so busy getting the workshop right it just didn’t occur to me to set up a photography area, another one for the jtd list…
Two vintage brass garden sprays;
And a vintage carriage lamp with copper reflector and brass bezel;
Thats a great idea Sarah love it. I could do with one, we had our brown caddy delivered on Wednesday.
Glad to see your up and running. The lamps look really good, such unique items, im sure your customer is going to be delighted with them
Love the snowdrops @MaxPringJewellery
the blackbird looks great with the orange foliage @ChristineJonesPrintmaker very striking
Those lamps are brilliant @SteampunkCreativeEngineering
I’ve just started this little piece. Can you tell it’s a badger? I’ve used inktense pencils to make a few marks and a base of colour. It’s hanging over the radiator to dry then I’ll embroider the details of the sleepy badger lying on his nest in the sett
I thought sleeping badger straight away Bekki @bekokodesigns looking forward to seeing it finished with the embroidery
I haven’t used my cutting machine probably for years Sarah @dotterypottery OH said I should start making scrapbooks and art again, but I don’t know where my time goes!
Loving the lamps Mick @SteampunkCreativeEngineering
Looking forward to him coming alive through stitchery
Thank you, Christine @ChristineJonesPrintmaker , Bekki @bekokodesigns and Max @MaxPringJewellery

Looking forward to seeing your badger embellished Bekki @bekokodesigns
Finally managed to take some photos of my Heart and Home project. The weather has been so gloomy but the sun very kindly decided to show its very briefly. These were printed using a Tetra Pak plate. I manage to get 4 printed but the first on was a bit pale so I gave it a bit of watercolour.
Thats great Katherine , love how you’ve designed it as an embroidery sampler, what a lovey idea for heart and home
Thank you Christine. I must admit although I voted for this subject. I was a bit a stumped on what to do. It’s funny how when inspiration strikes.
These have turned out brilliantly! Amazing what can be done with a tetra pack.
Thank you ![]()
it worked brilliantly Catherine @catherineoneill so much detail in your picture
I was showing my granddaughter how to turn foam sheets into ink stamps yesterday using a similar technique we had great fun
Thank you @MaxPringJewellery it is very good to play.
Here’s some progress on my sleepy badger. I’m going to start on the bedding next. To give an idea of scale, the hoop is 3”
February is the time for badger mums to build their nests and give birth to their little babies. It’s quite nice to imagine all of the new mums and the lives that they are caring for underground even though it’s still very much winter. They’ll be big enough to venture outside when the weather warms up. A reminder that spring is coming
