New seller - any tips on how to get those first sales?

hi, im a new seller…
just wanted to know if anyone had any tips for how to get those first sales?

I have images and listings in the shop, planning to add a couple a day .

other than that any help is greatly received.

Hi, just had a look round your shop and you’ve done well so far, the photos are good and the descriptions full and clear. Be aware though that selling online isn’t easy and you’ll need to promote like there’s no tomorrow to drive people to your shop. Building up a customer base will take time and patience I’m afraid. Why not join in some of the threads in the Showcase part of the forum, there’s a daily listing thread which is very popular and you’ll get to know the other sellers too.

Your shop is looking good.
Can I suggest you add some details to your profile and also that you add a link or even a mention of your Folksy shop to your Facebook page. Promotion outside Folksy is the best way to get people to your shop.
