Okay Hands up I have been bad in March, no excuse not even needed my finger slipped on the keyboard and with Apple Pay just one click and ‘oop’s bought’.
April is different I am not going to spend unless absolutely necessary, say if I run out of glue. Anyone going to join me?
Yep,
As March finishes I’ve noticed we have bought to much. So tighten the belt for April and probably miss listing this month as family pressures means things could get bad?
Plus travelling to sort out our daughters new house decoration as well.
I’m also going to try to get rid of all the things I know I’ll never use.
I sorted out a few boxes of things to go before Christmas but apart from an initial burst of enthusiasm I’ve not listed them to try to sell them. I want to give them all a month or so to try to sell them and if they don’t go then the charity shop it is.
There’s no way they will still be taking up space this Christmas!
I don’t know if it helps Lorraine @LilacDaisy but I sell a lot of cards and supplies on V..ted. They didn’t used to let you sell handmade items but now they do! I sell probably 10-15 cards a month there, they are older stock items.
I have sold quite a few items recently but ploughed far more back in since the end of last year, With thousands of pounds in fabric and threads alone I desperately need to sell some on…so yes a big yes from me…i can’t need another thing …not today anyway
Good luck everyone, I have a large order coming today and tomorrow but bought on the 31st. Tried to be organised and stocked up on essentials in advance. Plenty of fabritac arriving. I am sure I do not need anything else. My DTP printables are free.
Fingers crossed we succeed.
I’m not sure when it changed but they allow loads more than they used to. You have to add them as new with tags and you wouldn’t be allowed to sell loads as you can’t operate as a business unless you open a pro account, and you can’t offer personalised or bespoke items.
Hmm, I’ve put a bit of doubt in my mind. I’ve been looking it up and you can’t sell handmade through a pro account that’s definite. I’ve also found a page from V that says you can sell handmade cards under the home section then celebrations and holidays, cards and envelopes and then another page that says you can’t! I’m a tad confused
Love that you bought everything on 31st to stay good all month we think alike
New year on 6th April and I plan to make 2025 to 2026 my year for not ploughing it all back in… only been saying it for 11 years but this time I am determined and to clear raw stock
That sounds like a good idea Caroline. I’ve just sold another 2 of my stamp sets so might try listing a few more things tomorrow. Surely we’ll make a dent in it if we keep at it
