Iā€™ve resisted so far, it has been hard though. Might even make it through November without buying supplies too.

Liz, the lace arrived a few days ago. It is beautiful. I will include some of it in vintage slow stitching kits as planned but Iā€™m going to keep some back for special projects.

I too fell off the ā€œno buyā€ wagon - but what can you do when a customer wants to order and you just donā€™t have the right beads in stock? runs away and hides :blush:

@TheOldButton Hi Sharon, are you still interested in vintage lace? I have quite a stash that has been in my possession for at very least 20 years, some of it Iā€™ve had since the 1980s when I had a lingerie business. Itā€™s vintage in years, but condition wise, is effectively new in that itā€™s not been used or salvaged from old garments. I keep meaning to get around to listing it for sale! I have no photos but can soon do some if they might be of interest.:grinning_face:

Hi Julie, yes I am always looking for vintage lace or ribbon :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:.

If itā€™s lingerie lace, Iā€™m assuming itā€™s polyester or nylon, and possibly different colours? Send over some example pictures if thatā€™s easier for you.

If you are destashing lots, can I recommend FleaBay (not itā€™s real name, but I heard it here and loved it) as well as listing on Folksy.

Back from Whitby Goth and Iā€˜m holding my hands up hereā€¦.I bought not one but 4 pocket watches, all from different stalls, absolutely not necessary, but as I am moving up with the bears next year I have been forward planning for a few months and last year bought one for myself for a personal bear (that Iā€™ve not made yet) and ā€˜neededā€™ OK ā€˜wantā€™ to use them on some high end bears next year. I didnā€™t want to buy online as would rather the money goes to a stall holder and wanted to see the sizes and details in my hand or I might not have bought them just yet.
