Oh the problems of crafting

My eye’s are complaining. I’ve been beading all morning and still not finished, my eye’s are hurting now so I’m going to have to have a break and come back to it later.

Anyone else forget to take breaks and end up regretting it?

Yep , I have been hammering / forging some thick silver bangles this morning and my back is killing me , had to take a break and print packaging instead.

I’m having problems with my shoulders. Hurt myself a wee while ago catching a falling ironing board. Ironic really as I hardly ever iron! Anyway, still sore, especially when knitting, so I’m having a 2week break to see if it helps. On day 5 and really missing my knitting!

Yup…I am currently sitting with a support bandage on my right wrist after it’s been smothered in 10% ibuprofen gel & ice packs frequently.
I print everything by hand- and I’ve been on a bit a roll this week getting ready for a winter market, but frustratingly that’s ended in me clearly needing to take a rest for a few days.
Not a happy bunny!! :frowning:

Just smothered my long suffering fingers in Australian Bodycare Tea Tree Oil hand and foot cream. Brilliant stuff, It acts like grout on the little holes which regularily appear (I usually find them when I’m using my acidic flux for soldering - ouch :frowning: ). Makes typing tricky though as my fingers are a bit slippery at the moment

Cutting and cleaning endless narrow strips of glass when I’m tired always ends up with blood somewhere…

The man that invented jogging did and it killed him! Take a break and soak your feet; that’s my advice
