Paypal have put my account on hold, gave them all the info they wanted and they will get back to me in three days. They will not accept sales or payments and I can’t even pay my Folksy bill as there is no alternative payment method for this.
I am new to Folksy and new to a Paypal business account, was on Etsy before where they did all the payment stuff for you.
I seem to have set up automatic dispatch notices recently on Paypal, which I thought would go out after I had added tracking numbers, but it just goes the minute the sale goes through, I don’t know how to switch this off again. That is certainly part of the problem as it is flagging as an issue on Paypal. Anyone know how to stop the automatic dispatch notices?
If they go out immediately are you sure they are not ‘order placed’/’payment received’ notifications rather than ‘order dispatched’ which I agree would not be sensible.

2 Order dispatched (as you say - not sensible)
3 Actions on your account have been suspended.
What did your customer receive, do you know? It’s even dafter for it to send you the seller a dispatch notification.
I have always found that if you ring them up, they most helpful, go to the bottom of the home page on PayPal, and click on Contact, then again at the bottom , click on Call us, it will come up with a one time pass code and telephone number, when you ring, you will be asked for the one time code, so they know who you are. I would also ask how to turn that Automatic Dispatch notice, when you do dipatch, on Folksy, click the Posted button and send the customer a email with the details in along with a thank you etc.

Thanks. I called Paypal. They might have been good on the phone at one time but now it’s an AI and not much use at all. Not been able to talk to anyone about fixing my account or switching the automatic dispatch thing off. I’ve been doing the sending an email to the customer thing since I started. Thanks for your help anyway, good of you to try.
