Is anyone having problems transferring their funds to their bank accounts today?
I’m with HSBC and it’s been set for funds to transfer straight to my primary HSBC bank account (It’s been set up like that for over 20 years) but when I go to transfer today, it’s not showing any bank account to transfer to.
On my account, I can see that my bank account and debit card are still there and linked but it just won’t show up to transfer.
I’ve tried re-adding the accounts on the transfer page but it says that HSBC are not accepting transfers any more.
I’m waiting for Paypal to call me back but I’ve already been waiting over 2 hours. Just wondered if anyone else is having the same problem?
I’ve looked on X and I see that two people have also mentioned it but apparently Paypal told them there is no problem!
Mine isn’t working as it usually does Sarah, I just had a look, it’s linked to pay out to HSBC, the blue box that usually comes up to confirm the amount isn’t showing, there is a box saying fees may apply but when I click on it it brings up a list of banks to link. It looks as though it’s wanting me to set up again, not sure why and I havn’t had any notifications from them. I’m not going to do it just yet in case there’s an issue with PayPal. I have mine set up to payout to HSBC current account and HSBC credit card for spending online. I will wait to hear if you have any news once they have contacted you. My cards are also still showing and active.

Yes, it’s like everything has re-set and wants me to put the bank details in again but even when I did try that, they wouldn’t accept them.
Sounds like there might be a glitch of some sort today - hopefully they are working on it.
I’ll let you know if they do get round to phoning me back!
I only ever transfer £5 and over, leave the change sitting there but i decided to grab my £2.78 balance. Nope. It wants my bank details (and it already has them and has had them for ever !). I will leave my £2.78 sitting there until it is sorted.
PS I did pop into my account settings and yes my bank is still registered as are my cards.
Paypal did phone back - they said it was a worldwide problem and they are working on it at the moment.
They said to keep trying as they don’t know when it will be fixed!
