Photos not loading

The loading of photos is exceptionally slow today and I have one that won’t load at all with the ‘waiting to load’ symbol going around and around. As there’s no way for me to stop this load (the ‘x’ isn’t available at this stage of loading) it means I lose everything and have to start again. Even selecting ‘draft’ prior to reload, the draft doesn’t work as it’s in progress of being added. Any idea of what the problem would be?

Hi Katie, I don’t know what the problem is, but one thing I have done for a long time is to do the photos on the listing first, then if they don’t upload and you can’t do anything because of the spinning thing, you haven’t wasted your time writing a description and everything else.

Fabulous tip. I did get them loaded but it took ages. Photos first for me next time.

I usually copy another listing then just delete the title/details etc and rewrite. That way there are always photos present (even if they are not relevant) which allow you to save as draft. Also often means many of the tags don’t need retyping!

Hi everyone, just to let you know that I’ve made our engineer aware of the issues you’re experiencing with photos. He says they’re uploading fairly quickly at the moment so it may just been a time of day thing, but he will schedule in some time soon to look at how photos upload. In the meantime, please do let us know if you have any further problems

I’m still having problems. Won’t even let me load a photo that I’ve loaded and posted on another item in my shop. My photos are all under the required size.

@dougfolksy have you seen this.?
I’ve not tried any for a couple of days but will be loading some tonight. Don’t think my problem is time related as I tend to do listing quite late in the evening, midnightish
PS Had another red load error box at 23.47 today 8/7/22…

I eventually got mine all loaded. With the constant ‘whirling’ icon it looks like heavy traffic on the network.
