Pinterest - why do my pins all show prices?

In an attempt to broaden my social media reach I posted a number of pins on Pinterest, had a look again this morning and they (nearly) all have prices showing on them, even the ones that are not in my Folksy shop! Anyone know a) why this is happening b) how to get rid of the prices.

I have had a lot of probs with this, including images being shown and descriptions from totally different pieces of my work being shown underneath, together with an unrelated price. I have not been able to find a solution, and have no idea why it is happening. If you find a solution I would appreciate your sharing it!

OK good, at least it’s not just me :slightly_smiling_face: I’m pretty sure someone on Folksy will have had the same problem and will have fixed it.

I pin direct from Folky, on the page of the item being pinned, click on the box top right with the arrow going upwards and select Pinterest. The price and link are automatically picked up. If I go to the Pinterest app and post from Photos no prices shown. Not a fault, just depends how you pin. Not a problem though to have the price shown as could encourage a customer to click and but on Folksy.

Thanks Caroline. I’ll pin from Folksy in future, currently all my pins were all created in the pinterest app. I’m still not sure how Pinterest picks the price info up though as:
a) My Folksy shop items have a link to the actual item in the shop and show the correct price.
b) The non-Folksy items have a link to my Folksy shop front page but all show a price of ÂŁ36.
Any ideas?

I had a look at doing thiss as you suggested, where is “The box top right with the arrow going upwards” ? I can’t see it on my laptop (Windows) or my phone (Android).

Sorry I use an iPad but am sure someone else can tell you what to use on windows.

If you see price and shop recommendations on your pins, try to undo this “Show shopping recommendations”

Ah thanks, I’ll try that :slightly_smiling_face:
