I thought it might be a nice idea to promote Folksy shops that could do with a bit of hug.
My friend has worked really hard to get her Folksy shop up and running but, after quite a while on Folksy, she is ready to give up because no one seems to have noticed her lovely cards.
She hand draws whimsical characters and all of her cards can be totally personalised. She drew one for me recently for a friend’s son who is obsessed with growing cacti - now where would you find one of those in a shop!

That is such a nice idea, I am all for promoting shops that haven’t (yet) got many sales. Last year for the last couple of weeks before Christmas I did something similar on FB. I looked through the shops on Folksy in my area, and posted a link to ones that hadnt yet made a sale. No idea if it did any good, but at least it may have brought them to someone’s attention who might not have come across them!
So I have just done the same now, and have randomly picked out @handmadebysharon, a shop I know nothing about, so not a buddy as such, but has some interesting Easter themed items.

I think the owner should expand her About page a bit more…
What a lovely idea this is, thank you! This shop is not a “Folksy buddy”, but as I really wanted to take part, I have just had a browse on Folksy and come across this shop with an adorable piece for sale. The shop is called Kernow Sea Art. Best of luck to them, I love their items.

Love this idea! When I choose a theme for Folksy Friday I always promote shops that I’ve not seen before, find an liked item and 
it.
