If you’d like to make postcards for your shop with the Folksy logo or any other promotional material, we’ve designed a pretty fab range of cards, fliers and postcards with Moo. You can add your own images, info and shop URL. And there’s 30% off too!
The Folksy Shop was set up especially to sell the Folksy Collection products that were a collaboration between Folksy and Folksy makers a few years ago. There aren’t many products left in there as they’ve almost all sold out.
We will be running a competition to design bumper stickers and Folksy tote bags very soon. So watch out for emails and a blog post about it!
Thanks for your reply and looking forward to the car stickers and bags! In the meantime would we be able to use the folksy logo to create advertising products? For example a badge to wear at craft fairs saying ‘I sell on folksy’ or ‘ask me about my folksy shop’ or similar?
The Folksy logo is copyrighted so we would have to approve it first Allana. But I love the idea of a ‘I sell on Folksy’ or ‘Ask me about Folksy badge’. It would be great to have some of those!
If you do want to make something using the logo, could you email the design to community@folksy.co.uk so we can quickly check it’s ok?
Completely understand that, I will have a look about for prices to see iif it’s worth making some for upcoming craft fairs…or just for wearing. Thanks again for your reply x
Hi I have been very busy , Trying to make items for my shop so don’t have anything in it at mo . Doesn’t stop me from putting others work on Pinterest and my jas crafty moments page on Facebook when I get time I think this is a great idea every little helps
We’d love for Folksy to be a household name! I love working on this site and want it to thrive, there are so many talented sellers here and I love that it’s a British site and every penny made stays in the UK - plus everyone is so friendly here on the forums and when we’re chatting online
One of the many things we have identified (this may seem really obvious) that brings additional new traffic and sales to our site is new sellers coming on board. Each new shop brings a new bunch of buyers along with them and that means more views and sales for all your work. So do tell fellow sellers at any craft fairs about us not just the buyers!
We write a lot of content on the blog to attract people who are looking to start selling online and offer 3 free listings when they open a shop.
We are working on some graphics we’ll be using to promote our 3 free listings for new sellers. We’ll be adding these to all our popular seller tips posts which get lots of search traffic from our target audience - craft sellers, we want to convert the traffic into new sellers and we think a free shop and 3 listings for 3 gives them the chance to set up and test out how our listing process works with no need to spend a penny.
I’ll also share these graphics on the forums for you all to download and share online to friends in your network as soon as they are ready.
