QR code advice please

Hi everyone
It’s been a while since I posted here x
I was wondering if anyone could advise on QR codes for websites.
I have been researching them, but wanted to hear people’s experiences. Are there any reliable relatively cheap ones?
I fell foul of a ‘free’ one and printed some things up only to find it was a ‘free trial’ I had signed up for… :person_facepalming::person_facepalming::person_facepalming:

I can’t remember how I did it now but I generated a QR code for my Folksy shop and put it on my business cards - Canva have a free generator and I may have used that

or it might have been the Vistaprint one as I got my last lot of biz cards from there

I am being very thick! What’s a QR code?

Thank you, i haven’t heard of that one!

Not being thick at all. It’s that weird looking barcode thing you might have seen that you scan with your phone and it takes you to a website. Also it’s that weird barcode that’s on stamps now

Vista Print came up in my research. I wille have a look at Canva too

They’re those little black-and-white square things that pop up EVERYWHERE, usually with a message telling you to scan them on your phone, they are a quick way of providing a link to a website

I did mine with Vistaprint

There are lots of different qr code generator apps, and readers. I’m pretty sure I have the option on my pc to generate a code from the URL in the tab. Once you are on the page you want, shop page or item, you can highlight and copy the URL, then go to the qr generator and paste, it will generate a code that you can save and attach or print out. I have one on my business cards to my folksy shop, as well as on my name banner at fairs. When people use it I think it comes up as direct in the folksy visit stats.

Hi!

I’ve just made one for myself at this link: https://www.canva.com/qr-code-generator/

Hope this helps - good luck!
