I am looking at the idea of renting a craft shelf, does anyone know were l can look to find one, or if anyone knows of any in the Liverpool area.
I don’t know of any in Liverpool but I share a display booth with Natalie of Mungbean in Wimbledon. She may be aware of space within the shop .

Hi @Jshandmadedesigns why don’t you give Jacqui & JoAnne a try. They have a shop in Warrington which I know isn’t far from you.
I have some of my things there and they are very reasonable rental prices.

There was that type of ‘rent-a-shelf’ shop set up downstairs from Rapid Hardware in L’pool city centre (the old George Henry Lee’s basement) - I haven’t been in there a while but it was certainly there last Christmas. Having said that I was in there just before Christmas and it was empty of customers. But it might be worth popping in to have a look, see if it’s still there, and if footfall has improved any? I think part of the problem was nobody knew it was there, you get to it through Rapid, it didn’t have its own entrance.
I would think very hard about the economics of renting a shelf though, you need to have a pretty high turnover to make it work, I don’t think it would work unless you have items other than just handmade cards to sell.
A bit further afield there is the Funky Aardvark cooperative in Chester, might be worth looking at?
Thank you Helen, l never knew they had a place in Rapid although your right l dont think many people seem to go in there for anything, but will have a look, finace wise l do need to look at cost etc asl never seem to have the time to put all my cards up on folsky, maybe l need to push more with this route.
