Reviews from customers

Hi there. I know Folksy asks buyers to add a review for their purchase. Anyone know if additional reminders are sent? I had two items purchased in April but still have not been reviewed. Is it frownded upon for me to contact them?

I think probably only half of my sales receive reviews, I often get emails or messages on instagram from buyers to thank me, I havn’t ever asked anyone to leave a review but I suppose a quick email to ask if everything was received ok wouldn’t hurt. I don’t know whether any other reminders are sent.

I probably only get half of my buyers leave reviews too, same as Debby above, I get emails from happy customers and or messages on Instagram. I’ve only ever asked one person to leave a review but she was someone I know well and although she said she would she never did :rofl: I’ve never asked again.
I don’t really stress about it now.

I wouldn’t send any messages to buyers asking for feedback. Since April it’s almost two months…it might seem odd contacting the customers now. Everyone knows about feedback. And if Folksy already sends a reminder, I would leave it at that.

I have to say that I would Never leave a review if sent a reminder. Just me but I would find it pushy and would not buy again either.

I don’t mind leaving reviews if sellers ask. I tend not to ask people myself though. They either leave a review or not.

I’ve also noticed that there are far fewer reviews being left by customers than was previously the case. I think Folksy adjusted their prompts back when there were major postal delays (at that point customers were getting prompted before the item arrived in many cases which resulted in issues). I’ve been wondering if this maybe hasn’t been changed back (possibly for fear or further postal delays) and that this maybe accounts for the lack of customer reviews.

I also wouldn’t prompt customers myself.
