Hi folks! I have been collecting sea glass from my local beach in Seaham for many years. It is a great hobby which I have turned into a small business where I love to make art and occasionally wire wrap larger pieces for jewellery.
My question is whether there is any interest here for me to sell some of my supply. I have sold on the other side but the market is saturated over there so thought I would give it a go here. Folksy have kindly created a sea glass category in their commercial supplies and I have put a few listings in my shop. So… are there any jewellery makers who would be interested in a new supplier? I have also put together a small bag of mixed colours for anyone wanting to create pictures and cards.
I am interested to hear your views before I go ahead and list more of my rarer pieces. Thank you

Thank for your reply. Your stained glass is wonderful! Violet and red are indeed super rare but I do find them occasionally. We also have ‘multis’ on Seaham beach which are two or more colours on one piece and these come in lots of shapes and sizes like this gorgeous golden toffee piece which I have just photographed. Can you tell I love sea glass it brings out my joy!
I might be interested in any darker blue pieces, I only find tiny pieces of dark blue locally. Any other unusual colours too. I have an enormous collection but mostly green, white and very pale blue with a few browns.
Thank you for your reply Ley @Vintagebeadery
You have some beautiful statement pieces of sea glass jewellery in your shop. I will have a look through my stash and list some more pieces over the next week or two. If you favourite my shop and check the supplies section you can keep up to date. Many thanks for your interest
