Thank you I think I’m just going to go with Toffeekat it’s shorter and simpler without the Krafts on it, tea breaks is a great name
I don’t think I can add to all the advice people have given, but just wanted to say cat / kat in a name is a lovely thing! As a cat person it would draw me to your shop. Toffeekat is a great name. xx
Thank you, yes it’s definitely going to be Toffeekat (he was a very special cat)
Hi, I love ‘ToffeeKat’ as a name but one of the dilemmas I had with my business names (SilverStitches & Posset Bears) was that fact that people didn’t know what I was selling. SilverStitches speaks for itself, I make stitched items, in this business, machine embroidered items, but I also made hand crafted bears so ended up with 2 business names.
Something to consider is the ‘Krafts’ part of the name shows that you are making things where as just ‘ToffeeKats’ indicates that your business maybe more to do with cats than crafts. Hope this helps.
PS, I now trade under SilverStitches as I don’t make very many bears now.
Thanks for replying, yes I know what you mean. Because I’m ‘niching’ down to making and selling just crochet and knit items ‘krafts’ just seems too broad a word to describe what I will be selling, maybe adding knits might be the way to go…the little box at the top says it’s your first post on Folksy?
