Shopkeeping / shop collections

hello, I am having a bit of a day today, and need some help, again.
I am trying to reorganise my shop and when I move the items up and down the shopkeeping page so they are all grouped together nicely on the page in 4s, they just revert back to before, is there an ‘update’ button? Also how do you change the picture of the collection at the top of the shop?
I have done all this before, never wrote it down, and now… well I need help please,
Suzzie x

Not sure why they don’t stay in new order, I don’t think there’s an update button. As far as the collection picture is concerned I think it takes the item that is the highest up the list as the cover picture.

You need to go to shop keeping and then hold move, and pop it where you need it. It doesn’t work on the shop front itself if this is what you mean?:grinning:

Thanks Amberlilly, I have just had another go at re arranging the stock, but it still seems to just revert back to the original, it seems to work if I drag the item down, but not if I move it up!!! I am guessing it must be a glich, and will try again tomorrow or Monday when Folksy are back at work.

Stevie, all cleared, thank you.

Mmmmm, obviously without seeing the machine, I cant tell, and I am sure you have already done anything I may suggest, but…

  • take out the bobbin and any housing for it and see if there is a build up of lint and oil, I find using a pipe cleaner in those small spaces works a treat,
  • but guessing if the machine has had a life, it maybe the cogs that move the dogfeed teeth back and forth are worn and not connecting.
  • but also the pressure from the top foot may not be sufficient, again check in the compartment above, that there isnt a fluff build up in the spring that lends the downward force.
Other than that, dont paint it nor chuck it, as it is the sort of thing people love as film or wedding props
    Good luck Suzzie
