I am sure we all make for custom orders but these never appear in our shops, would be fun to see what we all do.
This is a customers order, still have a peg bag to go in lemon for Elaine but waiting for the canvas. In the meantime a taupe peg bag for Cara and the apron for Elaine.
I was asked to convert an old engagement ring into a pendant
The ring never got worn but the pendant does!
So pretty.
These were for Cambridge Contemporary Crafts gallery. I have about five similar waiting to be fired soon, as the design seems popular, but each is individually made and decorated so each one is a variation of the theme.
This birthday brooch started as a custom order for a friend whose daughter was 5 during lockdown last year.
I’ve since added it to my shop.
These were Christmas presents for 2 teenage girls to hang on their iron bedsteads. The request was that they were ‘the same but different from one another’!
What a fun idea Carolee.Crafts to showcase custom makes. This was for a neighbour of mine who is a keen gardener (if you look closely you may be able to see the images of veg on one of the silk ties) and a lifelong upcycler/environmental activist so wanted a scarf using only second life materials.
Thank you Tilly. Always think we make things but never seen and you never know someone may want what you have made, made for them.
Personalised Oak Initials
I have made a number of these oak initials generally for special birthdays and wedding anniversaries something a little different. I use French script which gives the letters the fluid curve shapes.
The letters are free standing, however I add two small feet for added stability. The combined pattern of initials and ampersand are individually designed to provide the most pleasing arrangement combined with overall strength. Once cut the letters are sanded and then finished with multiple coats of drying oil, providing a deep satin sheen making a wonderfully tactile and attractive item. The overall dimensions are approximately 250 to 300 mm wide (dependant upon lettering) x 145 mm tall x 20 mm thick
I love these!
This was made for a man’s 20th wedding anniversary using his tartan and his wife’s and some regimental badges. Other than that the instruction was…make a quilt! Luckily he was delighted with the finished product and was relieved to be able to reassure his wife he hadn’t been having an affair as she had clocked a text coming in from me!
Thank you so much!
Love the subtle colour combinations on your black stoneware Judy, I’ve just been enjoying your work!
I have chosen 2 bear commissions
The first was for one of my local customers who asked me to make a bear for her friends 50th, the second also local was a memory bear made from a loved ones coats

These are lovely. What a great birthday present and a lovely way to have a keepsake of a loved one.
