Please can anyone who has used Stripe advise me if an almost 10% fee is usual? I sold an £104.00 order and the fees to be paid are £8.98. This makes it hugely expensive to use surely?
With Stripe, your Folksy commission fees are taken by Stripe at the same time. This means your Folksy bill won’t include any commission for this sale, unlike with PayPal, where you pay the PayPal fees immediately and the Folksy fees at the beginning of the next month. Stripe fees are actually slightly lower than PayPal fees.
