Hi all, pretty new to this so this might sound a bit dumb, but can I purchase one of my own items to make sure that purchases are working correctly with stripe etc?

Easy to purchase your own. Just use a different email address. I recommend new sellers do this anyway as a way of seeing everything is set up correctly and also to see what emails are sent out to you as a seller and as a buyer.

Yeah it all went through thanks, I’ve since refunded it and emailed folksy explaining the situation
Yes should have said. Just email Folksy and ask them to cancel the order. Check you stock as when the order is cancelled it puts it back into stock. The good thing is there is a bug in the system so even though the order may get cancelled it still shows whatever it was on your sold page which is good !!
Yes, you can safely buy one of your own items to test Stripe. Just use a different email address for the purchase so it goes through as a normal buyer order and lets you check payments and emails are working correctly.
