I love the snow. I have been out the last couple of days taking photos of birds and squirrels! Although I have been out in it today and can barely feel my hands or feet so having a rest and a coffee before venturing out again!
Hope you are enjoying it too. Even though it can be a nuisance!

We are snowed in! But did manage a walk with our dog earlier. Here I am resting my hand on one of the snow drifts at hip level…

The road is just ice here, but the road to Blackthorpe Barn is stunningly beautiful with an eeriness.
My dog is dead keen to walk and doesn’t feel the cold with his thick Labrador coat.

Its very pretty but my heating broke today, 8 days to wait til someone can come to fix it.
Clare @GrimmExhibition, this may not help but I’ll mention it just in case. My step-daughter’s boiler has packed up and someone tagged her in a post on Facebook from a heating engineer which mentioned that lots of boilers are stopping working simply because the condensation pipe is frozen. It’s the pipe which comes out of the bottom of the boiler and goes outside. The advice was to try pouring warm water on that pipe or using a hairdryer to defrost it. Lots of people have found that that is all it was. Worth a try I guess,

Clare @GrimmExhibition this was the photo with the post
@PocketfulCreations Thanks. I received the same advice form a pal a few minutes ago. I shall try it tomorrow. As for tonight I have placed 2 hot water bottles under 3 blankets and a duvet, and I doubt il be changing into my pj’s tonight. Il just keep on what I have on now.

That’s exactly what my husband had to do earlier to our external pipe. It had frozen completely solid. @PocketfulCreations
He managed to melt it all with hot water x

@PocketfulCreations It seems I don’t even have a condensation pipe to unblock!! Just 2 spouts and an air vent thing!! #nothappy
Oh no! Ah, it’s a shame it couldn’t just be something simple! I hope you’re managing ok.
