What are you grateful for

I’m grateful that in small doses I can now use a pair of scissors without screaming in pain. it’s the little things that make the difference

Morning Sue,

Definitely the little things - glad you’re feeling better.

I’m grateful the sun is shining - I can dry my washing outside and I can sit in the conservatory without freezing!

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Cheers Lou

Hi Lou
I’m grateful for sunshine today and my lovely christmas stocking and coasters from your shop. They arrived yesterday, it was like opening a wee early christmas pressie Jx

I’m greatful to my boss in my day job.
I work 1 on 1 with a colleague on school transport for children with additional needs and disabilities.
Last week I was paired with a different colleague who I’ve never worked with before, who totally doesn’t know the job and doesn’t listen and /or learn. They made an easy job quite stressful.

I’m not one for complain about me colleagues but I really had to and fortunately my boss totally understood where I was coming from and as from Thursday this week I will be paired with someone else.

I am grateful that my 10 week old puppy has finally fallen asleep and I can have half an hour to do some prepping for a Christmas market on Sunday.

No sunshine in Cornwall today, so I am always grateful for the grandchildren, as they always bring sunshine with them :sun_with_face:

Hi Lou,

I didn’t reply earlier as I wanted to see if it was going to be sunny here so I could say I had pegged washing out too, however it wasn’t so I didn’t lol

This is a lovely positive thread. I try to find 3 Reasons To Be Cheerful every night before I go to bed.

That’s a good thing to do. I do think sometimes we take things for granted and just focus on the ‘bad’ stuff.

I’m grateful my hubby has just enjoyed the cottage pie I made him. I personally don’t like cottage pie

Oh no! If it’s any consolation my washing will not be going out today & I’m not going in the conservatory (which means no sewing machine) as it’s wet here today!

Morning All,

Thought I’d try carry this on this morning! Today I’m grateful my son can be persuaded to be sensible every once in while & decided that a wet miserable day wasn’t a good day to ride his bike to school for the first time so opted for the scooter he’s more used to instead!

How’s everyone else’s day going so far?

Cheers Lou

Hi All

I am grateful my home hasn’t been flooded and full of thick mud. I don’t think I could cope with that mentally and certainly not physically. My heart goes out to all those suffering from the terrible storm Burt. Why do these events always happen just before Christmas!

I am grateful that the mice (who are eating the bottom of the door to my kiln shed) found something else for supper while I fired 21 pieces yesterday. Unloaded the kiln an hour or so ago and everything safe and sound.
