Apologies if this has already been discussed - I searched but couldn’t find anything.
I’ve read the blog post about this event twice now and I’m still not really understanding what Folksy are looking for. It may be that I’m being dimmer than usual but can anyone explain it to me in “for dummies” style?
First of all you need to added the words Thoughtful Gift Edit, to your tags on the products you would potentially liked featured. Make sure the product descriptions are written with gifting in mind, what makes it a good gif and what is the story behind why you make that particular item.
Folksy will then choose their favourite items to showcase for the campaign. It isn’t much different to the daily theme tags but it will last for a month rather than a day.

I guess what I’m struggling with most is that the vast majority of items on Folksy are giftable, so what’s the differentiator for something for the showcase? Do we think that they just want us to pick out 5 items to tag that we think are the most giftable and tweak the descriptions to include that giftable / story text?
That is what I have done, I have picked listings I would particularly like featured.
