A silly little thing I know but I noticed a few days ago that the FOLKSY heading at the top of the forum page has not been displaying properly and all I’m not getting is a llitle coloured icon and [Folksy Ltd]
Just added some links to things in my shop to the Mother’s Day gift guide post and realise no pictures have expanded there either…though when I’m editing and they previewed on the right they appear as normal pictures.
Anyone else seeing this ?
Just checked on my android phone and that Is showing the full coloured Folksy heading but no photos for any of the 4 listings I added to the forum post.
The Folksy logo is showing for me on my desktop, but not all thumbnails are showing. All the large image links seem to work, but for the little ones with the extra text information there are quite a few missing (not all, and I haven’t noticed a pattern to which work/don’t).
I’m getting the Folksy logo in the forum on my phone but not on my laptop where I’m just getting a little black cross in a box and Folksy in black text.
I too am only seeing certain thumbnails in the forum and others are missing.
The odd thing is that only My thumbnails are missing in that forum post, others added by someone else later are showing here on my laptop and on my phone.
I think I’ll go and make glass as I can’t solve the techy problem
I’m not getting the coloured Folksy logo at the top of the forum page either, just a broken square with Folksy Ltd in plain text next to it, and I’ve noticed a few posts on here where the photograph is missing as well.
Also, a lot of the photographs on here are appearing all fuzzy and out of focus for a few seconds, but then become clear.
Same here, Folksy logo missing, just “Folksy Ltd” at top of forum page. This only seems to be an issue on my Windows lap top though. Seems to load up fine on Android.
Some thumb nails are missing, some aren’t. It just seems really random.
Ok, after a forced refresh I just lost the Folksy logo too, so that will just be showing up for some people because the device has remembered it, not because it’s working on some but not others.
I’ve noticed people mention missing thumbnails for the past week, but it’s definitely not all. I know I had one not work this week so I switched it to a big picture, but then one I tried posting the next day did work.
I’m going to raise this as a ticket with support. It is really very odd that I can’t have thumbnails on my posts either from my Windows 7 laptop or my windows 10 desktop pc both using Google Chrome. But I can using Firefox which is Not my browser of choice and I don’t keep it up to date.
I’ve tried to add thumbnails to this forum topic and all I get are empty spaces. I note I can see everyone else’s except one from @CazOnline which shows like mine…
Is there perhaps an incompatibility with Folksy thumbnail posting and Google Chrome ?
On my phone
I too don’t get the folksy logo, just the 4 squares and folksy. Also when I post anything on my phone my thumbnail pictures dont appear. Have also noticed this with others postings.
On my laptop
Everything is perfect! All the thumbnails appear even on the postings from my phone.
This has been happening for about two weeks.

Just to let you all know that we are looking at this and trying to work out what’s going on. I’ve tried updating all the relevant logos etc but it doesn’t seem to be updating. We’re not sure what’s happening with the thumbnails either. We think it might be linked to an update on the platform that hosts the forums but that’s just us speculating. We’re working to get it fixed though! Sorry everyone!
