Hi, I’ve been trying to renew my listings now for the last few days but every time I try it says ‘unable to contact captcha please try again’ but then the button to renew is greyed out for the rest of the day and it won’t let me resist them. Any ideas?

When I have problems with re-captcha it’s usually a slow connection and re-captcha times out before it’s finished. Maybe try a different time of day?
Hi, thanks. I have tried morning and evening but still no luck. The rest of my things on the laptop are running fine and no problems with my connection 
I have had this issue occasionally and sometimes the items do actually get relisted even though it shows an error. That would explain why the relist button would be greyed out as you can’t relist twice on the same day. Did you check the ‘listed’ dates on the items?
I think @KBCreations might be on to something and that your listings have been renewed even though you are getting the error message. The categories are still displayed in recency of listing/ renewal and when I look through the categories for your items they are there right at the top suggesting they have been renewed very recently.
@marklawlessdesigns I’ve just checked your account and can see that you’ve successfully renewed your entire shop today (as well as for the last few days), so it sounds like has been suggested, that although it looks like something hasn’t worked properly, it’s actually just being really slow. If you wait a minute and then reload the listings page, you should hopefully see the listed on date has updated, to confirm they have been renewed (or if you check their category page you should see they’ve moved to the top).
If this happens again the next time you try though, please could you post or send us a screenshot of the error message? I haven’t seen anyone come to support with this issue lately, so it’d be good to see exactly what comes up and know if more people have suddenly started experiencing it.
