Well done Margaret, it’s good to know he’s OK.
I have a new moth reference photo - hope to do something with it later
Morning Margaret, Maria and Stephie …
Good to know Trevor is OK
I have been painting miniature poppies … having fun and painting what I love I haven’t listed them yet but they are on FB … this is one in Tryptic Style 2 1/2 inches high by 1 1/4 : 1 1/2 : 1 1/4 inches wide…
That’s very effective Hazel, very pretty indeed!
Pam, the foxglove ACEO arrived this morning, it’s gorgeous!
Thank you Margaret, I have a Tryptic style landscape in my miniature Gallery and thought I would try out a couple more - I think they are more of a doll house art item, than a miniature collectible don’t you? as they need to be wall mounted for the effect I think
Love your little poppies Hazel!!
I’ve added this mermaid
Off to visit my Nan now, be back later.

Yes, I would agree, they’d need to be displayed in the correct sort of place, but would look stunning in a dolls house.
Very pretty mermaid Maria, enjoy your visit to your Nan
Great mermaid Maria
Thanks Margaret
It’s turned bit cooler here today, just had to find a cardi !!! Where’s my sunshine gone !!!
It’s a bit cooler here too, though not raining as the forecast predicted. At lunchtime I got chased by a herd of young cows so had to run faster than I ever usually do! Glad to sit down in a nice quiet office for the afternoon…
Sounds like you had an eventful lunch break Margaret lol
Hello all!
Finally catching up after my two weeks in America! Had a brilliant time visiting relatives in Atlanta and then travelling through the Smoky mountains. Even got to see a black bear in the wild so there may be a few new animal paintings coming soon! Still struggling with jetlag at the moment but gradually listing some new stuff.
Heres my Steampunk Elephant linocut print.
Clare xx
Oh heck Margaret I bet that gave you a fright! Waving hi to everyone, just popped on whilst on the bus
It did Max, they pretended to ignore me then started running in a big curve coming over the edge of the bank in a stampede towards me, as if they were trying to cut me off from the gate! Won’t be walking through that field again for a while!
Great to see you here again Clare, glad you had such a good holiday
Welcome back Clare.
Margaret what an eventful lunchtime! A few years back while I was having a second look found Monet’s garden Mr C went off for a walk and found himself in a field with a bull.
This is the first of 2 blog posts about the desert collection paints that I was using in the Algarve
Wouldn’t like to meet a bull that’s for certain!
Very interesting blog, look forward to the second one. At the moment I think I made a mistake buying the desert collection, but maybe I just haven’t tried hard enough!
Beautiful poppies Hazel. I never know with triptychs whether to leave a space in the composition between each painting or whether to keep going as you have done Hazel. I need to decide soon as I think I have a huge 20 inch square x 3 triptych commission coming in.
Waving Clare, welcome back to you and your steampunk friends. Fab work
Yikes Margaret, I’m glad you survived your encounter!
Evening all, just chilling waiting for spring watch. Interesting blog Tessa, I love the blue and orange together perfect for dessert and seascapes I should think. Ooh how exciting Stephie, look forward to seeing that commission
Max I’m really not sure how I’m going to work on them all at the same time…it will be a challenge! Might need to borrow a couple of easels from my art club friends.
Good luck with that commission Stephie,
I’m off now to stitch some more tiger head
