I was on Etsy for years without 1 sale. I think I joined Folksy almost at the beginning. I don’t get many sales but that’s because I work slowly and don’t add new stuff often. Also my self promotion is dreadful.

I left them finally when they started being just another Amazon or ebay.

Totally get what you’re saying @Vintagebeadery about the self-promotion side of things, I was never on Facebook or anything like that before, until I started my Folksy shop in early February this year. I joined Facebook in April sort of reluctantly tbh and am not too clever with using it. I am really trying to post something on it once a week!! I can’t say I totally enjoy that side of things but really like Folksy.

Luxury cards, handmade with care, and not mass produced is what I do and is definitely the way to go 
People do prefer to receive luxury 3D handmade cards because they make beautiful keepsakes to treasure
