What would you put in the gift guides?

The link to the gift guides is causing a bit of a fuss (yes I am massively understating there) so to help Folksy out (I realise that you perhaps don’t want to do that right now) which of your items do you think should be included in a gift guide? I’m sure someone will know who at folksy we should flag this up to but I’m afraid I don’t (it might be Camilla or folksycontent).
So to kick things off - my chemical element jewellery is sadly missing from the gift for geeks guide - I’m an ex chemist and this range has proven popular with all my chemist friends, some of them are geeky enough to have a favourite element, most just go for their initials.

I made a suggestion on the blog that maybe we could nominate a couple of our items each week for inclusion in the guide…they would then have a wider variety to choose from. One of my bookmarks has now appeared in the ‘bookworms’ category (yesterday I think)…
Another item I think could go in is my little tree message decorations in the ‘Christmas decorations’ category:

I’d include my personalised pet baubles in a Christmas Gift Guide - they are really popular. I also do personalised signs and stars for pets - I’ve sold sooooo many in the past few weeks

Great idea @SashaGarrett
I think my knitting bag should definitely be in the Gifts for Crafters guide.

That would be a great idea Kim,
If we could all submit an item each week for the Folksy team to choose from then some of us obscure makers might get seen occasionally.

This is for the handmade wedding gift guide - an extra special card which either bride or groom can send to each other.

There are lots of other nice variations available too.

I would have a general “For the home” gift guide as there doesn’t seem to be one.

I think one of my needle cases could go in the Gifts for Crafters Guide.

Maybe this piece for the ‘Handmade Wedding’ gift guide perhaps?

Quite a few of the gift guide items are Sold Out, and one shop has nothing in it. As I have said, elsewhere, what a waste of space and what does that say to new customers. There are some lovely gifts posted on this forum, and craftjuice. I think this is a great idea and thanks for starting it.

I think this would appeal to all crafters…

I think this could have been in the gifts for bakers,

But I would love to have seen a gift guide for art lovers, got lots of paintings

I’ve just got mine out again Sara and LOVE it - especially as my precious bun is no longer with us.

Great idea I would put my Blue Porcelain Necklace in for gifts for her or statement jewellery.
