Whoops, did I delete my listings?

Yesterday after my monthly market, I sorted through my stock and updated my Folksy shop.

Decided to delete all my expired listings as they make me anxious (although I try to leave them as long as possible because they can be useful).

Now I seem to have lost lots of active listings!

I’ve probably deleted a page by mistake, or hit the delete button instead of relist, my concentration is not good, but I am wondering if it had anything to do with me deleting the expired listings? I often copy listings instead of making a new one.

My question is - When I deleted the expired listings, did I also delete any listings that I produced by copying and editing an expired listing?

Thanks Folks.

I once deleted a whole page of listings, thinking I had hit the “relist” button…it took hours of sorting through to see which ones were missing and relist them…ooops
Hope you can get sorted x

Dont worry i have done that before with listings etc.
I just pick myself up, brush myself down and start all over again

The listings that you made by copying will have a different listing reference number assigned to them so no deleteing the original expired listing should not have affected the new copied listing.
(once a listing is deleted all links back to that item (from eg pinterest) stop working and people will see a generic ‘404 error’ message rather than a ‘this item is unavailable’ message in your folksy shop, it also reduces the network of links back to your shop so I would always advocate leaving expired listings in place)

Thanks guys. If deleting expired listings doesn’t affect active copies then I must have hit the delete button by mistake at some point! Once I can face the job of listing it all again, I will just use it as an opportunity to improve the look of my shop.

Yes I have done that as well and lost nearly all my listings and had to do them all again.
