Ahh well done Annie - Friday has really crept up on me this week, I hadn’t even thought of a theme for tomorrow! I decided to feature my xmas decs this market - good decision for once, as the pendant I was thinking of using sold this afternoon

I foolishly signed up to do a live stream on Sunday and now I am starting to get anxious

Well done on signing up for the live stream - I’m sure you’ll be amazing! The audience on IG is so lovely, which I always think makes it less scary on there. Having said that I was thinking of filming some little videos to show some of my designs & I’m putting it off - hate the sound of my own voice

Yeah, thankfully people have been really encouraging and supportive, so I am keeping that in mind, when negativity starts to creep in!
Ugggh, videos- As you know I am not a fan of stories, videos and recently did a time lapse thingy and that was bearable because it was so quick, when I played it back, that there wasn’t time to analyse the details (the good, bad and ugly ones) -no sound (yay!) I think we all endeavour to show our pieces in literally the best light and Winter and I are always in conflict with each other because wool roving simply doesn’t translate well on camera, so I can understand when others feel the same- equally I don’t want to disappoint our lovely customers, it’s a tricky balance but ultimately everyone needs to do what feels right for them and their products, right?

I totally understood your request, no explanation required for ‘senior moments’…I have become quite adept with translating two seniors in our household of late- I don’t consider anyone ‘senior’ until they are well into their 90’s!

Anybody? I’m still trying to work out if I should join in with these pedddle craft fairs but can’t say I understand what they are really!

I took part and I have to say my sales were the best they have ever been. I noticed in the statistics a lot of traffic was coming via the pedddle market, so I’ll definitely be taking part in any other ones, though will have to look at the fees. This particular market was well worth the £15 I paid

Suzanne - I am so glad to hear that. My sales were also the best they have ever been; the first day was manic, and I am still recovering!!! I will definitely be going in for more Fairs in the future; like you say, well worth the £15. SallyAnn xxx

I agree, well worth the £15 fee. It was the first online market I’ve taken part in and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had my best December sales too…exciting to hear the phone regularly pinging! . There was a great supportive Folksy community on Instagram too. Thank you Folksy and Pedddle! I hope there will be more Folksy markets in the future too.
