Who's on Instagram

Hi Chris, I’m following you. Be sure to drop back in and let us all know your Instagram moniker, when you have it set up. Your buildingscapes and Cornish town painting are incredibly beautiful.

Thank you, Jackie! I’m enjoying seeing your latest beautiful pieces of jewellery!

I’ve found and followed everyone I could from this thread - lots of new eye candy!

Thank you for your kind words. I will drop back in as soon as I am set up on Instagram. Another thing to add to my “to do” list.

I can’t seem to get this to work on chrome either - doesn’t seem to be a tablet icon to click. Shall have another try though as it would be so handy to be able to add photos on my computer xx

When you right click inspect, look along the top of the new section that just opened. The 2nd icon along (says “toggle device toolbar” when you hover) is the one you want.

Or apparently just ctrl + shift + M (but the inspect panel has to be open when you do it).

Oh, and this is mine - https://www.instagram.com/k_onyskiw/
I use it as a mixed business/personal account, so there’s some art on there and a bit of normal life (mostly cats and cake).

I’ll try get round to checking everyone else’s out tonight.

hmm yes I tried that but doesn’t come up with anything but a smaller screen - can’t see anywhere to add a photo. I will have another play thanks xx

Thank you!

Ah yes I see what you mean, I just tried it. Do that, and then change the www. to m. at the start of the URL.
Once I’d done that it came up with the + button at the bottom that you use for adding photos.

I don’t have all the photo editing options that I have on my phone, but it’s better than nothing.

Hello, I’m following you and now I’m hungry! Your miniatures are sooo realistic and tempting. I made some peas once, for my late mum’s Dolls House - an epic fail! Thanks for joining us here and showing us your works of art.

Hi there, Scruffy Bob (I love that name!). Good to have you join us here, I’m following you (that really sounds so wrong but, you know what I mean). There’s nothing better than REAL wood in the home.

Oh thanks so much! I will follow back! xo

Thanks @JennyChapmanArtwork , I did it as far as the little window opening. Didn’t get the bit about choosing a device as nothing came up for ipad or for anything else I would use. Fiddled around a bit then fiddled too much and everything disappeared. I think I’m just scared in case I can’t get back to where I was in the first place! I think I’m going to have to leave and continue with a tablet when I remember to use it, just hate dealing with small screens.

Thanks @LotfieldJewellery I don’t use onedrive. Dropbox doesn’t work for me on the desktop, only on the tablet which is what I’m currently using there. I think I’ll just stick to that, I’m getting in too deep and then I find I’ve fiddled away the whole afternoon and got nowhere!

It might be worth trying again :grinning: I hate using small screens too. If you do try again, look closely at the top of the little window that opens. In my version of Firefox the tiny menu for selecting the device is actually part of the top of that little window. When the window first opens, it says, very faintly, “no device selected” and there are some tiny up and down arrows to the right of that. Those tiny arrows operate a drop down menu from which you can select the device you want to simulate. After selecting the device, you can log in to Instagram with your Facebook account (or create a new account if you like) and it’s all plain sailing from then on… or should be! The menu items for Instagram (home, plus for add a pic, etc_) all appear at the bottom of that window, once you have logged in.
